Focus and Scope
Indonesian Journal of Tropical Biology (IJTB) is a scientific journal that publishes original research articles, literature reviews, and short communications in the field of tropical biology. This journal focuses on the exploration, conservation, and development of biological sciences related to tropical biodiversity, ecology, and environment, especially in Indonesia and other tropical regions.
IJTB's topics include, but are not limited to:
- Tropical Life Biology: tropical zoology, botany, mycology, and microbiology
- Ecology and Conservation: population dynamics, tropical ecosystems, endemic and rare
species, and science-based conservation efforts - Biotechnology and Molecular Biology: application of technology in the conservation and
utilization of tropical biological resources - Taxonomy and Systematics: description of new species, identification and classification
of tropical organisms - Ecophysiology and Adaptation of Tropical Organisms
- Management of the Environment and Tropical Biological Resources
This journal is open to articles in Indonesian and English, and is intended for students, researchers, policy makers, and practitioners working in the fields of tropical biology and the environment. All manuscripts will go through a peer review process to ensure their quality and scientific contribution.
