Authors who wish to publish in the Indonesian Journal of Tropical Biology (IJTB) must carefully read and follow the requirements listed below.
The article must be original, has not been published elsewhere, is not under consideration for publication in any other media or journal, and must have a similarity index of no more than 20% as checked using Turnitin.
The article should be written in either Indonesian or English. The article’s structure must include: title; author’s name; abstract with keywords; introduction; method; results and discussion; conclusion; and references.
The document must be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) with the following format:
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font size: 10 pt
- Line spacing: 1.0
- Two-column layout with column spacing of 0.76 cm
Use a journal template
Indonesian Journal of Tropical Biology has provided a journal template and a guide using the template below. As for the templates that have available writing styles / designs, we recommend using versions of Microsoft Word 2016 and above to ensure that the design / writing styles work well
Manuscript Languages
Indonesian Journal of Tropical Biology accepts articles in English and Indonesian language, make sure the use of words, phrases, sentences is in accordance with the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI) and American English Grammar for article in English language
