Abstract
Conflict management is a strategic process to resolve disputes by addressing
differences in values, goals, needs, and interests between individuals or groups.
This study examines the concept of conflict management, including its types,
sources, forms, and resolution strategies. The research was conducted using a
literature study method, with data collected from various scholarly sources such
as Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, DOAJ, and other academic databases. The
analysis involved reviewing relevant journals, articles, and books to provide a
comprehensive understanding of the topic. The findings indicate that conflict is
an inevitable aspect of human interaction, occurring in various contexts such as
families, organizations, schools, and even within individuals themselves. It is
often rooted in value differences, goal misalignment, and cultural or social
disparities. The study concludes that effective conflict management is essential
for fostering harmony and achieving shared goals. Future research should
explore practical implementations of conflict resolution strategies in specific
social and organizational settings.
